About the Author
Rob White, along with his wife, Marion, lead a church-plant in Wilmslow, Cheshire, England, where Rob was senior minister of the Baptist church until May 2004. Prior to that he was national director of Youth For Christ in the UK. They have been fulfilling a wider ministry, giving input to leaders, leadership teams and churches of all denominations.

An intelligent yet practical resource

This book could easily be used in teaching university students about applied criminology and the practicalities of working with offenders, but it is also written in such a way that even very experienced practitioners would be able to find its content stimulating and relevant for their work in the field. I like the segments in each chapter on innovation, they offer hope and creative stories from prisons and programs around the world - good news stories that we don't get to hear enough!
