Educational and Entertaining

I am, by no means, a math person, but I was enthralled by the way author Jeremiah Dyke was able to keep my interest while teaching me something about integers and rational numbers. I know that I will include this book in my children's library; also, a local elementary teacher I know read the book and is in the process of determining how to include this in her curriculum. I highly recommend this book!

Great way to introduce math!

What a fantastic and fun way to introduce basic concepts of mathematics to children. The visual and story-like representation of different types of numbers as "far away lands" is sure to help readers remember this information and make sense of it in an academic setting. Great for youngsters just learning, or adults who may simply need a math refresher!
