Good book that outlines the major pitfalls that healthcare practitioners (MDs, NPs, & PAs) need to avoid when diagnosing/treating patients with common and "urgent" disorders. Topics are presented in a concise and clear manner, and there are solid references to support recommendations. I would argue this text is not only appropriate for urgent care (e.g., emergency room, urgent care clinic, etc.) but it is also good for internal medicine/family medicine practice, which is where I work.

I have used this book to study for family medicine boards. I found it useful for practice as well. I was able to read it in a couple of days. I think that it was worth the money. It is well written and useful.
